The Chamber’s ground breaking event for gastronomy.

The event of the Commercial Chamber of Trikala for the local gastronomy of Trikala at the Ananti City Resort concluded successfully. The event, entitled “Gastronomical wealth as a pillar of tourist development”, was held in order to promote the gastronomical identity of our region under the brand name METEORISIMO with the participation of prominent speakers and guests.
The event was a special mark in the fifteen year course of the Chamber of Trikala for the itemization, showcasing and incorporation of local gastronomy to the regional tourist industry under the brand name METEORISIMO. The event boasted prominent speakers, among them the exquisite chef and ambassador of Greek gastronomy Mrs Argiro Barbarigou, who pushes for the elevation of traditional Greek cuisine to a higher gastronomical status, the president of the worldwide organization of gastronomical tourism Mrs Maria Athanasopoulou, as well as the president of the faculty of dietetics and nutrition of the University of Thessaly Mr. Athanasios Tziamourtas.
